Política = Moda

“It must never be forgotten that the working-class ‘aesthetic’ is a dominated ‘aesthetic’ which is constantly obligated to define itself in terms of the dominant aesthetic. The members of the working class, who can neither ignore the hig-art aesthetic, which denounces their own ‘aesthetic’, nor abandon their socially conditioned inclinations, but still less proclaim them and legitimate them, often experience their relationship to the aesthetic norms in a two fold and contradictory way.”
